| On May 5th, I will be participating in the 5K Revlon Run/Walk for Women in New York. I'm helping to further the fight against women's cancers by raising money through pledges and donations. To make a pledge, simply click on the link below to go to my personal page and make a donation. https://www.revlonrunwalk.com/ny/secure/MyWebPage.cfm?pID=366903 Your tax-deductible contribution will help fund important research into the causes of and cures for women's cancers. In addition, selected programs of excellence that promote prevention, education and support services will also benefit from funds raised through this event. Thank you for your support in the fight against women's cancers! | | |
| Know how your cell phone company charges a fee for 411? I recently discovered a toll free number that you can dial for directory assistance, and it acts just like 411. It's 1-800-FREE411. It follows the same business model as Google, so you may hear a brief advertisement before you receive your requested number. I have it saved in my cell phone now. Today, the US Postal Service began selling the forever stamp. It's 41 cents, and it will forever be valid on standard envelopes weighing 1 oz or less no matter how much postage goes up. Currently, stamps are 39 cents but it is slated to go up to 41 cents on May 14. On a different note, I really like Maroon 5's new song "Makes Me Wonder". It's catchy and upbeat. Their new album "It Won't Be Soon Before Long" is due out May 22! Hmm...I think I have some leftover credit on iTunes. | | |
